Have this sneaking suspicion it'll be a shootout a la the A&M-Bama games. Early thought is something like 45-41 either way. Am I remiss? Will the score be much lower? What say you?

With it being at Bama, I'll take Bama 38-34

Bama BIG.. do not be fooled by Alabama's performance last week.. Saban is money in revenge games, the crowd, the motivation, the defense, etc. will all be in Bama's favor.

Ole Miss is very good, but it takes a special team to win in Ttown.

Alabama. Their LB corps is too good.

So all of that crowed noise, being a stud coach in revenge games, etc, is going to suddenly make Cooker a much better QB with 5 practices?

Yeah, I will stick with Ole Miss.

Alabama has lost 3 games in Tuscaloosa over the last 7 years.

2 of those teams would later play in the national championship game

and 2 of those teams had a future Heisman trophy winner at QB.

All 3 of those games were razor close and the games went down to the last second.

So basically it takes a national championship contender team with a Heisman QB to barely scrap out a win in Tuscaloosa these days.

I'm giving bama the edge because it's at home. I wouldn't be surprised if Ole Miss won though. If they shut Henry down and make whoever the QB is pass then it could get bad

Yet, none of these games were played in 2015.

Worried about a lot of the match ups in this one. Ole Miss receivers on Alabama's DBs. Alabama's shaky QB play against a very good and aggressive Ole Miss D. Alabama's PK against the gods.

I'm glad it's at home for Alabama. I think Ole Miss would win, and maybe convincingly, in Oxford.

Alabama's DL should be able to make Ole Miss one-dimensional by taking away any Ole Miss running game without committing extra guys to the box. Will be up to the Alabama LBs and DBs to contain the passing game and they should be able to play in the nickel and dime formation to do it for the most part if necessary.
