Ole Miss, Arkansas, MSU, and Texas A&M won't have to deal with REC officials in 2024

I wonder what game the officials will make up for it since we won't have our seasonal screw-job by the Tuscaloosa paid officiating crew.

Speaking of which, can we import some Big 12 officials?

At least you won't have to address how you beat yourselves again, if we won.

Even the refs can’t help Alabama win anymore.

The refs tried all they could in Alabama’s game against LSU and Alabama STILL lost, even with the returning Heisman winner at QB and 2 of the first 3 picks in the NFL Draft…

I won't miss playing against them.

I'm talking about the officials, of course.

No thank you. As bad as SEC officials can be, I'd rather not.

We were penalized more than anyone in the SEC and were in triple digits nationally. Stupid take.

Well, if any of these teams are in the mix for the SEC title late in the season then the REC will still get you somehow.

Oh, yeah ok... your point is valid.

Alabama lead the SEC in penalties last year and were something like 113th in the nation. REC officials would have done a much better job helping us out. Dumb post.

We've already explained this to you.

The REC is smart enough to load up penalties against y'all in your Vandy and State games so's to mask the favoritism in the competitive games.

Losers always look for excuses, and "the refs" are a favorite excuse, so the most successful teams get the most flack because they win the most games...and the losers just keep on....losing.

They could call Alabama on multiple penalties per play but they don't. It's WHICH penalties that the call / decline to call that sways the games.

Of course, who needs them to call a facemask when the helmet gets ripped off or a rabbit punch to the head for the QB?

Yep. The refs are the only reason Bama wins.

You can find a penalty on pretty much every play no matter who is playing

So when we got 17 penalties against Tennessee and they got 6 there were strategic penalties called or not called that was overall to our advantage? This is even dumber than the OP.

Look.

When someone comes up to you and claims the Earth is flat, you don’t try and convince them it’s round. Just pat them on the head, say, “That’s nice,” and then go about your day.

You will never convince a conspiracy theorist that their theories are wrong.

Officiating isn’t an issue for us against Bama, it’s the talent discrepancy.

But the home field officials at auburn are a different story…..

Don't you know REC officials were against Alabama last year? They cheated them out of the Tennessee game!
