this is actually spot on. They had a great regular season, and got to enjoy the spotlight a little. Even though it was later deem unwarranted, you can't take that away from them. Ole Miss celebrates 9-3 seasons, and it's been since 2003 when they won the WEST with David C.....that they had a 3 loss regular season.....I kid on the West...but the flag hangs......ha.
If you are a fan of a school like this, you get excited as hell for seasons like this...let them have their day. They have been on the verge of greatness for well over 50 years now....it's what they teach each class of kids entering the school....for the last 5+ decades. It's like Elvis is still alive, on some island somewhere. The students at Ole Miss now actually believe they are on the verge...and the ones 10 years from now, will believe it too......it's the way it is at Ole Miss....let them have their day.
