I'd encourage you to consider a candidate off the map. He'll recruit better than Hugh (even with fewer numbers of scholarships) and he will be hungry to make an impact on his last stop.
And, let's be honest here, you're not going to do better than him. I present to you the next Ole Miss Head Football Coach:

That would be awesome especially if he suddenly reeled off like five ina row against LSU. Thebmelts on this board would be so entertaining.

I actually think he'd do a better job than any other candidate that they'd reasonably be able to get.
He would recruit well in TX, LA, MS, and FL. He'd have former players rooting for him to do well, and he'd NOT make the same mistake as last time (Cameron).

You're FOS if you say you wouldn't find it entertaining as well.

As a die-hard purple and gold fan, I would have no problem with this. He ran his course in Baton Rouge, and our side is the one who ended it. I'd cheer for him except for 1 game a year

I lived near that marijuana field. On certain mornings the smell was strong.

It's not a bad idea. I don't really think Les would even consider tho. Lane Kiffin wouldn't be a terrible idea either. At least we would be relevant no matter how bad we were.

I would rather mothball the program than hire tubberville.

Is Vaught-Hemingway grass or turf?

I'd feel the same. But, if he has any of the ol' riverboat gambler left in him that sob could do the job

Lane Kiffin has experience with this type of scenario

Hell I'd think Les would actually do well here. I wouldn't be mad about it ether
