You're correct that the SEC winning and being percieved as strong (which it obviously is) helps the SEC teams. I just don't get involved in the "SEC Pride" stuff. I said the same thing yesterday, but it's like gravity. I know gravity is true, but I don't have "Gravity pride", it is just a fact. The SEC is the best conference, I hope my team can help keep us on top, but I take no pride in the accomplishments of other SEC teams. Congrats to them, but I dont give a damn, just want my team to win.

Exactly what I was trying to say. Well put.

OR, just MAYBE, we should judge teams on an individual basis rather than by this conference pride shite. LSU struggled with a terrible TCU team, UGA lost to Dabo Swinney, and Oregon murdered Tennessee. This SEC brotherhood malarkey needs to die.

As long as championship participation is decided subjectively, and in the new era of College Football Braketology it will be more subjective than ever, then i will route and route hard for all SEC teams when they play non SEC opponents.

And not even able to be rationalized in any way.

Tennessee hasn't been to a BCS game since 1999. Since then, Alabama (5x), Arkansas, Auburn (2x), Florida (4x), Georgia (2x) and LSU (4x) all have.

I mean, it isn't even close.
