So you are happy with the product?

Just curious, what are your expectations for Mississippi State football?

No sane fan should be content with the Troy, Alabama, A&M, Ole Miss, or Northwestern games last year. We didn't even try to win.

See if we don't try, then no one can make fun of us when we lose. That way we turn win-lose situations into win-wins. It's a perfect strategy.

What the Hell does "he almost quit" have to do with our underachieving team & coach? Gundy always threatens to leave so T Boone will step up and give him another raise. I would count a game against us as an automatic win.

Sherrill's teams just seemed better coached and I believe we beat some other ranked teams.

Based on a quick look at the schedule and on the final AP poll...

Mullen is 1-17 against teams that finished ranked. That one win coming over Ole Miss in 2009.

I know if we were the team that lost 4 starting OL with the 5th was shifting from tackle to guard, an NFL RB, and several key pieces to one of the worst defenses in the country last year -- while breaking in two new coordinators

We have a legit shot if our secondary can just play halfway decent. We should be able to pound the ball and use the short passing game to eat up clock and let our Dline do some damage to a young inexperienced O line that isn't gelling early in the season.

No, Mullen is tearing Jackie & Emory up. That is absolutely pathetic.

I really hope we beat OSU I am anything but a fan of Gundy & Big XII. I hope our defense somehow shows up and is conditioned for this game and the others that follow.

I honestly have never seen so many people scared of an Okie State team before

What I get from this whole thread is Okie State could cluster frick any team in the SEC so lil ole Mississippi State doesn't stand a chance. Trust me. People were saying the same thing about Michigan in 2010.
