The SEC DID NOT correctly cite the rule in question they only talked about the ineligible players and the story discusses this.

I just rewatched the game and there were several calls that cost Alabama the game.
The phantom false start on the FG kick that was good.
The 3rd and 1 late in the game looked like he got enough for the first before getting stuffed on fourth down.
Those are just a few off the top of my head.
Pretty open and shut home cooking.
Damn shame too, couldn't have happened to a better team.
