Only an auburn fan could make himself believe that finishing undefeated while being on probation and banned from postseason play equals a national championship.

1993 we were the only undefeated team. We shouldn't claim it due to the circumstances but it's still more legit than some of the ones on the back of your Wal-Mart shirt.
What about Alabama's 1966 undefeated team (only one) that we didn't claim? Coach Bryant said it was his best team.

Hell, their 1957 team was on probation too.

But Alabama was bowl eligible, unlike Auburn.

Thought this was about our near future shooty hoops championships. Disappoint.

Auburn wouldn't have been banned from a bowl in 2009 either.

1993 is a silly claim. Auburn of course doesn't claim it.

1983 we were the best team. It reveals the beauty contest most titles become.

1913 and 1914 should be claimed along with 1957 and 2010.

No way dude. Miami won the AP and UPI. I don't care what your program wants. The UPI and the AP in 1983 were the only respected poles for a championship.

We are no better claiming 3, but 1913??

Were they even wearing pads then?
