How many schools still pass out helmet participation stickers after each game like Ohio State does? Yes, I know the stickers are for doing something good during the prior game. To me it's still childlike.

I can see doing it in their younger years, but in college? Seems a little comical for that age group.

I would love to see how many stickers they would get in a tough conference as opposed to the "big boys" they play now.

O you entered the game! "Sticker for you Justin!"

Took 8 of you to make the tackle? "O heres 6 stickers."

"You didnt make a single tackle vs Michigan mr.young so here's 12 stickers so your ego doesn't hurt... "

Ohio State should always do helmet stickers. It’s a cool tradition. Their helmets look badass. This is dumb. It’s college football. Don’t keep sanitizing it to be like the flavorless NFL.

I always thought it was pretty cool tbh. I liked the dog bones that UGA used to do. I'd like to see a list of how you earn the stickers. Maybe sacks, etc?

Georgia had white and black ones. I believe one was for athletic achievements and the other for academic.

Don’t ask me why I remember this shite, correct or not.

tOSU’s buckeye stickers are a cool tradition, I liked FSU’s as well (don’t think they do it anymore?)

UGA had the dog bones, Auburn had eagles I believe late in the Barfield era

I always considered it Ohio State's thing, and I think it looks pretty good on their helmets. I would just assume teams do that instead of passing out a crown and a staff on the sidelines after getting a turnover. I'm pretty sure at some point during the Barfield year's in the 70s Auburn put eagles or something on their helmets for good plays.

I like them, i thought they were cool when i was in junior high and i still do. Its college football, there's not much left of it anyways. Dont go picking apart everything. Next youll be talking about how silly it is to have a band. Please just go watch the nfl and stop making college football suck.

Lots of schools did this year’s ago. LSU had them in the late 70’s, they were little tiger heads. I remember Georgia having them also.
For Ohio St it looks ok I guess, adds to the helmet.

that's correct, and it was nixed when kirby came. Dooley used to have stars on the helmets which seems kinda lame but Herschel's helmet always looked cool because the whole back half was just stars
