If Fla St and Ohio St win they will play for the natty because the political backlash will be powerful along with the Big ten,Pac ten, Big 12, and others conf presidents raising high hell that the SEC leapfrogged a undefeated team in a AQ conf.
If Auburn leap frog Ohio St then the conference presidents will mandated you have to be a conf champion to be a playoff team.

I don't like the 04 comparison. We lost a game. I agree there is an argument to be made about the weakness of osu but it's not a sham if they put two undefeated teams in a championship game.

You say OSU is no good bit don't the numbers have them favored over AU if they played?

The media wants to see another capable power take down the S.E.C. Champ fair and square on the FIELD! They smell weakness now that Bama is out of the way and they feel strongly that FSU will take down Auburn or Mizzou.

Be careful what you wish for. ESPN is already pimping Bama for a rematch with Auburn. It won't happen unless it's in the Sugar Bowl, but the Bama media spin is already in full swing.

it was more of the comparison about how you will feel after getting rejected.

If we can't play Fla St. then I would LOVE to play Bama again. We wouldn't cry about it like ya'll did. We would embrace it.

You actually think we want CENTRAL FLORIDA?????

If Jameis is charged with sexual assault before the National Championship would he have been considered an ineligible player for the 2013 season?

If Ohio State is undefeated I just don't see them being left out. Ohio State has probably the largest alumni and fan base in the country. Plus they have that whole undefeated record for the last two years..

Should the SEC champ be in the game...regardless really considering the state of the conference and it's recent history of kicking the living shite out of everyone they play in the big game...with the exception of course of 2010.

Yes, they should. Couldn't say that in 2004, can say it now after years of complete dominance in the big game.

Will they? Not if FSU and Overrated State both win. Sad but true.

This. Those teams are in the drivers seat, control their own destiny, whatever cliche you want to use.

You couldn't melt Auburn and pour them on Alabama! They know full well what would be waiting for them in N.O.
And if they don't, they can ask their LSU buddies about a real arse whipping!

Why isn't Braxton Miller even mentioned as a heisman candidate? None of the clowns respect this years Buckeyes one bit! It won't happen. They know it will be the least watched game.

Maybe because got injured midseason and that deflated his numbers? Ever heardnof hiseman missing three games and still winning, because I haven't.

The media actually does NOT want this matchup and a majority will not vote for it

The media vote doesn't count anymore. GFY. Be glad you had 2 fluke plays and might win the SEC. Enjoy that ride while your on it.
