re: Official Tennessee @ UGA predictions

Unfortunately, this game has a 2004 UGA/UT feel to it, coming off the revenge game with a hyped D, a record setting veteran QB, and some young RBs against a UT team with serious talent in certain areas.

Fortunately, Richt may have discovered his own kryptonite this year -- the suspensions. Every year we seem to stumble and it's due to our team coming out flat. Mizzou we were "up" for their introduction to the SEC. Vandy had the Franklin/Grantham hype. This week the buzz is finally getting a full team for the first time this year, players are pumped.

Richt is only a few more motivational ploys and a dash of black jerseys away from making this a special year.

Oh, Dawgs win pulling away in the 2nd half behind Gurley and Murray ad a suddenly stingy D after UT gets theirs in the first half.

I'll go perfectly contrarian and say Vols 30 - Dawgs 24. Vols have a history of screwing up Georgia's overrated seasons. And they're due for a good emotional game after being flat since NC State.

This game has great fanbase meltdown potential. Not saying that UT wins, but with the influx of new UGA posters, SEC Rant would be an interesting read. I think it'll be closer then some of these predictions. 31-21 UGA

Dawgs by 10, and I'll be glad we escape it. Next week is USC, so just want to get out of Sanford with a win today.
