Here are the results from Week 7's votes. Thanks to all of the voters! I was going to try and post something funny but Zach Cunningham took all of my humor.

The List:

Break down of votes:

Text version of comments:

1. Bama's defense and Special Teams have combined for more TDs than the Tide has given up. Two Alabama backs are averaging over 8 yards per carry. Joey Freshwater was spotted lurking around the coeds in Knoxville, supposedly he came in on an Access Hollywood buss. Overall, I'd call it a good weekend.

2. A&M had an open week. I don't like calling it a bye week. Bye weeks should refer to when a team has an auto advance in a tournament.

3. What a great game. Went down to the final possession like many suspected. Clutch drive by Arkansas on offense followed by a clutch stop. Defense played much better than I thought and offense moved the ball when it mattered. Now we face the second team in a row that has rested off a bye. Let's see if it is more noticeable this time.

4. Gus used this bye week to get the team back in touch with their roots by taking them to Disney World. No amount of HS JV and ABC Friday Night Lights game file prep will prepare Bret for this rejuvenated Mickey Mouse offense.

5. The Vols are physically, emotionally and mentally beat up right now. Thank God for the bye week and the upcoming 74th easiest schedule in the country compared to the 3rd hardest we've just went through. 10-2 and a trip to ATL is still on the table.

6. Hard to win when you give up 200 yards rushing.

7. A sloppy first half was overcome by an explosive third quarter. Not much learned from this game, but the Tigers get ready for a harrowing back half of the schedule starting with Ole Miss on Saturday. Should be a fun stretch.

8. Florida took care of business against Missouri on homecoming, avenging the debacle on homecoming back in 2014. The defense dominated, while the offense struggled at times with Luke Del Rio trying to get back into rhythm. Florida is now back in the driver's seat in the East. But there little margin for error. Florida will likely have to win out to make a return trip to Atlanta.

9. Outgained our opponents by 250 yards, with zero turnovers and still found a way to lose the game. Chaney's play calling was questionable to say the least, and despite the defense looking pretty formidable all day, they struggled when it mattered most. We have no senior leadership and if we keep playing like this, Kirby's welcome won't stay as warm as it once was. At least Eason looked better than last week.

10. The bye week is over. Getting ready for MSU at home, a must win for UK to keep bowl hopes alive. Barker still out at QB. UK fans understand what Tennessee fans are going through this week.

11. We gave better effort this week, but play calling was atrocious at times. We are just a bad football team. We are well on our way to a 3-4 win season.

12. In an interesting historical footnote, Vanderbilt has played at Georgia's homecoming three times in the last three decades. Each time they have left with a road upset. Here's looking forward to another road win in 2026. By limiting turnovers and letting Zach Cunningham be one of the best defensive players in the country (19 tackles!), the Commodores won between the hedges. Hopefully, we can find three more wins.

13. USC is coming off a bye week and going into a game against UMASS. Hopefully the offense now understands that the goal is to score touchdowns.

14. Hello darkness, my old friend

So Georgia doesn't fall. They keep the same power ranking after getting beat by Vandy?

In fairness, Georgia has fallen from 2nd overall since the first iteration of these power rankings:

I really do like seeing how these things shake out over time though.

Head to head is part of a power ranking but there is also a fully body of work to look at.

I understand that there is more to it but getting beat by a very weak team shouldn't keep you in the same place. I guess the Georgia brand is more appealing then the other bottom dwellers.

how would you rank the bottom? If head to head is your only concern, then UK and SC both have to be above vandy since they both beat them. But you also have to have us above SC and missouri since we beat both of them.

It's an inexact science.

Arky at 3 and UGA at 9 are hilarious.

LSU sitting at 7 is pretty funny too when you think about all the preseason boasting.

Okay Arkansas moved up 3 due to OM win & Tenn loss

Auburn gets up 1 with a bye? Sure I guess they got moved because of losses.

Tenn down 3 after a tough game?

OM down only 2 with 3 losses?

UK up 2 after a bye? Get outta here with that shite.

Uk moves up because miz & State lost.

Tenn has back to back losses & no longer leads the east.

Auburn moves up because the teams ahead of them lost.

None of these things seem hard to understand.

I do understand. However Georgia losing to Vandy at home is huge.

Agreed but the bottom 5 teams dug a huge hole. UGA is trying to "catch up" in a short time. I bet if they posted the total, UGA dropped in votes even if they didn't drop in ranking.
