Greetings and salutations! Well, we are 25% of the way through the season - but really not much closer to clarity in our rankings. Lots of variance. We think the games this upcoming weekend and the following should start solidifying things.

As always, thank you to the voters, and to Lew for the amazing graph. Without further ado - here we go!

Mizzou has rankings from 7-13. And the voter who ranked Mizzou 7 was not a Mizzou voter!

Good work people!

But, who the hell voted Mizzou 13th considering Kentucky and Vandy?

Not to sound like a broken record, but A&M is 10th in the country yet 8th in the conference.

Someone put UF at 9

Nevermind. Now it makes sense. That's pitiful.

Wasn't LSU.

Here's a caveat. We do review the votes. If we see a ballot with more than 1 significant outlier, we take a closer look and determine if that ballot will affect the overall rankings. This is meant to be a serious ranking. On rare occasions, when an outlying vote affects the integrity of the results, we have removed ballots. Most times, that outlier is a weekly aberration based on something an individual voter noticed, and it corrects the next cycle or two. Our voters take this pretty seriously, and we respect their opinions, so this happens only rarely.

Do you know how to read a graph?
Or the way numbers work?

Try taking a look at the 8th place votes. See some maroon? 2 stripes? They're not both for usc, kiddo.

That means ONE voter put y'all at 8. The logos are where a team lands on the rankings.
