The Independence Bowl should be a good opportunity to play in SEC country as long as we can avoid the letdown of losing to an ACC team.

Everyone is waiting to see what happens with K-State, Michigan, TCU, etc. before they start making commitments. To many guesses about at-large bids. If Michigan gets passed over for some reason, you could see Michigan go Cap One and we could get Nebraska which I would be thrilled about

Rarely do I agree with you, but VT over KSU is almost comical. VT got beat by 28 last week, lost to Clemson twice, and didn't beat anybody decent this season. 17th ranked team in a BCS bowl.

They aren't 17th.
If they were 17th they couldn't get picked. To be an At-large you have to be in the top 14. They're 11th in Coaches so probably around that in the BCS.
But it just shows Money and Filling Seats > Teams play on the field.

I just meant they are 17th in the AP poll, tells me enough about how deserving they are of a BCS bid.
