That's not totally accurate. LSU actually had a better conference record by .003 percentage points, which is why they're seeded higher in the tournament.

Man that is a shitty rule that needs to be changed. Why, you ask? Because it fricked us that's why.

Tigers had a Tie and a Cancel. Screws up the numbers as you are no longer equal.

Check out the line graph and tell me Florida and Missouri aren't exactly parallel.

Yes the lines for UF & MU this week are parallel, but we're talking about Mizzou having the perfect low score (30 14th place votes) for the past 4 weeks. That "constancy" is unparalleled

You might have to say it a little slower in a deeper accent before he understands.

Eh, I imagine he doesn't look at these every week. My response before I edited was a little more harsh

Yes, I want to bang my head against the wall. I was telling people 2 weeks ago, that this team is one that nobody wants to play in the post season, but they are so inconsistent that I can't get that excited.

Better conference record: You were wrong to begin with...it was LSU (LSU finished 3, USC 4)
Better RPI: LSU
Better SOS: USC, not by much, pretty comparable SOS

LSU should now be #2 in the SEC power rankings and with a win Sunday vs Florida/Kentucky should get the SEC's second national seed IF the SEC gets a second national seed

Ole miss has/had an argument for the national seed, but LSU will have a higher RPI, stronger finish, better tournament, and the head-to-head series win which all outweighs ole miss' 1-game finish ahead of LSU in the SEC standings.
