Amari Cooper looks so good. He has to be the safest pick in the draft. Kid is unbelievable.
He's def the total package. Really impressed by him.
Anyone know what he did on bench?

@JHokanson: For Coates’ size/strength perspective, average bench rep for the WRs running in the 4.4’s better is 12.6 (few WRs didn’t bench). Coates 23.

Amari Cooper didn't attempt bench.

I think its hilarious how they try and take stock out of these drills.
Watch his film from the actual season right?

Did he just show them the pull up vid and say F it?

He didn't catch the ball very well in the gauntlet drill.

They continue to grill him. Damn.

Yeah, I think he's a good player I was just referring to the announcers dogging him.

I like Coates as a physical specimen, but I don't think he uses his hands very well when catching the ball (if that makes sense). He definitely struggled adjusting on the one deep ball, but did have a solid catch after that. I wouldn't be surprised to see Coates be a good player at the next level, but I have a hard time believing anyone will be even close to as good as Cooper.

Dropped a few slants too. But the announcers are being tough.

Am I the only one who thinks Amari is taking it slow on these drills? Or is he just making it look so easy?

Probably a little bit of both.
No reason to go all out when you're a unanimous top 10 pick.

I just thought he was making it look so effortless. The way he catches the ball and runs his routes is so smooth.

Yeah, I think he's taking it a little slower than some of the other guys.

You mean he actually dove for a ball? He refused to ever do that for us.

Then why even participate in the combine if you're going to half arse it?

@JamesCrepea: Blake Sims runs a 4.59, so a hair faster than Nick Marshall, unofficially

I expected Nick Marshall to be faster than a 4.60. That's slow for someone tryin out for CB also

Given his length, that's an OK time.
Regardless, I think he would be best suited for safety.
