Very informative article that goes in depth on why ole miss has the best tailgating experience. And it says "Official" right there in the title so you know it's legit

Have a hard time ranking something the best that doesn't allow an open flame for a grill.

Grilling/Smoking is an essential part of tailgating IMO.

Second in the SEC belongs to South Carolina (not being a homer, that's in the rankings)
Can't say I disagree :p

I have a good time in the grove, but I would rather tailgate in Baton Rouge. I don't know many people from Oxford and living in Hammond, I obviously know more LSU fans. Never had a bad experience tailgating in BR and have gone even when Ole Miss is playing another opponent. Also, the grove is extremely crowded. It's especially crowded during big games and makes it miserable when walking around at a snails pace.

They don't allow open flames or music in the grove.

Ole Miss, LSU, SC all three top five from the SEC ... that's good representation for the conference.
