LSU is a middle of the pack sec team right now, just like UF.

We will be making it 4 in a row against UF if the game is played. It's an automatic win for us.

I know that, I'm not the one assuming victory right now though - Arkansas has played us tight in recent years and I expect this coming game to be more of the same.

you still have to play it though - can I just mark down the Bama vs. LSU game as an automatic win since Bama has won 5 in a row?

I'd be totally agreeable to that kind of scenario fwiw.

So if the exact same situation was playing out right now but it was betweenTennessee and Alabama, you'd be ok with just cancelling the game?

My guess is that game time will be moved back if anything.

It sucks, but try to re-schedule it. I'm sure there is a way to play it during the week or something or move a bye week or shitty team game around to get it in.

If you can't work it out then i guess yes, you have to cancel it. Its a natural disaster and IMO the players and coaches shouldn't have to worry about football if the storm is that bad.

I know its a different situation but my office in NO tells everyone to get out of town or go take care of their homes / families in the days leading up to, and during, landfall of a hurricane. Again, i know its a different situation but I appreciate that opportunity when given it and I'm sure the players and coaches on football teams would probably appreciate it as well.

That wasnt apparent in your transitive property post.

Neither are we. Just want to play the game but not deal with a Cat 4 hurricane.

I'm looking forward to the Arky Bama game.

Transitive property as I understand it is: team 1 beat team 2 and team 3 lost to team 2, therefore team 1 will beat team 3.

I didn't say anything like that.

I was just responding to the poster asking for a forfeit.

Me too, although hoping it isn't as close as some of the recent games.

No, your comment was about Mizzou not being good, therefore...

Definitely a transitive property logical fallacy

All good though, happens daily here. Lol.

I'm sure you did. Then we lost to auburn. Said loss was so bad we fired our HC. That's how bad auburn is.

Its not a big deal, but that literally is not the transitive property.
