Since this season will be LSU’s first time to play in Fayetteville in over 20 years I wanted all my Tiger friends to be well prepared in advance of their trip. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible I put together some recommendations so you can fully enjoy and appreciate the beauty and splendor that is Fayetteville, Arkansas all the while making you feel like you are at home in Baton Rouge. Let me be the first to welcome LSU fans to the Ozarks and we hope you enjoy your stay in God’s country. Any other Hog fan with recommendations please post them here.
Nightlife:
Club Tangerine- After enjoying your Thanksgiving meal head to this nightclub if you’d like a little extra ‘stuffing’. Besides, men wearing purple and gold will fit right in.
Bottoms Up Club- For those who prefer the female form this Fayetteville establishment contains quality of women similar to that of Baton Rouge, so you can feel at home 600 miles away.
Dickson Street- This is the main bar district in Fayetteville. It includes many restaurants and bars such as 21st (-0) Amendment. Please remember this is not Baton Rouge or New Orleans so please refrain from vomiting, urinating, defecating in the streets, on cars, sidewalks or people. Also please tell your players no stomping on veteran’s heads while on Dickson Street.
Recreation:
Devil’s Den- Devil’s Den is a popular hiking, biking and camping park right outside of Fayetteville. This is beautiful scenery you won’t find in Baton Rouge or the entire state of Louisiana. Again please refrain from vomiting, urinating or defecating in anything other than a toilet.
Mount Sequoyah- This historic spot that overlooks Fayetteville was once a strategic outpost for Confederate forces during the Battle of Fayetteville in 1863. Today it is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike who want to take in the breathtaking views of the city. The large cross is also popular among religious types so feel free to stop by and take a knee in front and pray that John L and the Razorbacks take mercy on your beloved Tigers.
Food:
James at the Mill- this is one of the nicer restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. May I recommend the Andouille Sausage Corn Dog.
Shopping:
Wal-Mart- This pays the bills and allows us to have the nicest athletic facilities in the SEC. Shop here for all your tailgating needs (they do accept food stamps)
On Campus:
Fulbright Fountain- This fountain on campus is a tribute to the late J. William Fulbright, former US Sentor and Arkansas alumni. As tempting as it may be please no urinating or bathing in the fountain.
Trashcan- Here is an example of what the trashcans on campus look like, use them (for trash, not body fluids)
Science and Engineering Building- Home to several departments including mathematics, Crow Pie may use this facility to create any graphs or charts needed during his visit to the Hill.
Senior Walk- One of the oldest traditions at the U of A is engraving each graduating senior class into the walkways that run through campus. This is our version of sidewalk fans, not like the 90% of Tiger fans who probably never set foot in an LSU classroom.
Baum Stadium- If you haven’t been to a baseball series here be sure to stop by and visit the nicest baseball park in the country while on the Hill.
Razorback Stadium- This is our football stadium, all windows in tact, so please don’t break them just so you feel at home.

What about vomiting or hocking a loogie?

I heard a rumor that they are going to keep the fences up around campus until after the LSU game to keep the Swamp Kitten fans from vomiting/urinating on our nice buildings? Anyone else heard that rumor?? If so, we have a very proactive facilities manager

When you come to LSU you can view our SEC titles and NC's and wonder what that must be like.

Just trying to help our neighbors out! We're looking forward to showing off Fayetteville instead of Little Rock.

Fayetteville also features Old Main lawn, a spacious area full of green grass in front of Old Main. During the fall and spring, scores of UA students can be seen studying or tossing a football on this spectacularly manicured lawn. Just a reminder to LSU fans/coaches, grazing is prohibited

Doing some scouting for CLM. Where exactly is this, and is there security?
