I would melt so hard as a UT fan I doubt I would recover.

The days of Tennessee being considered a powerhouse program are over.

Top coaches have made it clear they aren’t a top job anymore.

I never said he was done just that he is not a great gameday coach when he has to play a team that has equal talent to his.

Nobody wants the Tennessee job their last 3 hires are evidence of that. How far down the list was Schiano? 6th? 7th?

The sad part is they tried. They made top candidates “say no.” Eventually you just have to stop or no one will want the job after the word is they were choice 89.

Their program is just dead, unless one day they can hire a get out of jail free card like Nebraska got with Frost.

No worse than Alabama electing a pedophile US Senator. Get off your high horse.

Hire fricking Kiffin over anyone involved with Penn State. Roll the dice on Tee Martin, bring in Cut, hire a frickING HAMSTER TO COACH TO THE TEAM. Anything, ANYTHING but this.

I'm out if this happens.

It is kinda weird Greg was the last choice. Makes you think some other “last choices” said no too.

This. Don't know if I have ever seen a more resounding disavowal of a head coach hire. UT fans are livid.
