The rationale is that, since Alabama was so far ahead, letting out 3rd team defense actually PLAY defense is reprehensible. Following that logic, Alabama shouldn't have been allowed to play Arkansas at all today because their 1st team QB was hurt.

Well, regardless of what you say, so far....it doesn't make sense, our 3rd team was in mid way through the 3rd qtr....Saban gave them a chance to play actual football, and not just run the clock out...WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT?

Just watched the game off DVR ....OMG ...I felt we would win...but my goodness....the Flagship was sunk like the Bismark today....possibly never to be risen again.
That was a complete game by Bama on both sides of the ball....Arky had no answers.
Guess those questions about the OL will cease for the time being
