Probably Kane Whitehurst

Arkansas releases Kane Whitehurst

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Arkansas coach John L. Smith says wide receiver Kane Whitehurst has been released from his scholarship.

He's one of six Arkansas players who have been arrested this spring after Maudrecus Humphrey, Marquel Wade and Andrew Peterson were arrested Saturday and charged with burglarizing dorm rooms.

He was a transfer just like Cam or Nick Marshall "transferred". I'm sure USCeast just had a better academic program for him to study

I really enjoyed our annual win. But the powers that be at the SEC had to do some rebalancing. After 20 years, it became clear we were just going to shred uscjr year in and year out

I look forward to an actually competitive series with Missouri in comparison

I'm confused. Are you offering his name into the coaching search?

I'm not sure if NCAA allows a player-coach situation. Have to look into that

Just trying to help.

We clearly know what we're doing when it comes to coaching searches. Thought we could offer some tips to the less fortunate.

After all, the latest basketball hire isn't exactly going like gangbusters

Hell, our kicker had more points than they did the last time we played them.

That didn't stop them from sailin' though.

Some Arkansas fans were talking trash to me on the bench... I reminded them that I had more points than their whole team. #imthekicker

Except y'all finished on an 0-2 skid, 38-20 & 52-7... :/

It kind of sucks they fell off our schedule when their decline has begun. Instead we get to play an actual top East team yearly while A&M gets a bottom feeder.

You can tell who's rising and falling in the SEC-E by looking at who's scheduled to play Arkansas. We seem to play the best 2-3 SEC-E teams every year.

Next year we get Tennessee, so if you're a VOL fan, start making your SECCG reservations now. Don't forget about Missouri, though, cause we'll still play them, too.
