That QB exudes pocket presence and poise.

Absolutely going to change that program.

Ahh you can always tell when it’s getting close to September because everyone is hyping up Notre Dame.

They looked good, but I’ll withhold judgement since they played Navy, who is going to absolutely dreadful.

Sam Hartman is for real and has been for a while. In terms of your question, that's too be determined but probably not.

Good grief. Check back in after they play Ohio St. Tell us all about that pocket presence on display vs mighty might NAVY.

I came out of watching that feeling bad for Navy more than impressed with Notre Dame. They looked dreadful.

That’s true. But for some reason LSU thought it would be a great idea to hire NDs troubled coach

Navy did look really small up front, but Notre Dame as a top OT and 3 solid RBs.

Notre Dame has always had good OL just lacked defense and QB.

They have a real QB now.

Also, the first team that wins convincingly on a national broadcast. Remember Texas A&M over South Carolina with Kenny Hill/Trill. One year it was Nebraska. This happens every year. First team to win convincingly on a national stage is considered to be “forreal.”

He threw some pretty bad interceptions at wake forest so he’s gonna make some mistakes when the competition gets better

Do we, though?

Ohio State spent a decade cruising through a truly terrible football conference, and now has a sort-of-peer challenger, and hasn't risen to the occasion. They rode it to routine playoff spots with embarassing losses.

Skepticism may well be warranted, as that game may just be a question of which team is a bigger fraud.

I don't know about for real. But they have a really impressive offensive line. The QB looks to be the real deal. Not sure on the skill of the wide outs and defensive talent. They get OSU later in the month. We will have a good idea then.

It's not even September and the overreactions are already starting.

Love it, it must be football season.

Their QB and RB looked really good actually. Their offensive line had a huge size advantage though.

That was what actually gave me more pause than anything else about that ND offense. There were way too many individual plays, particularly on interior runs, where Navy's smaller and less athletic line simply won at the point of attack.

If that happens vs. Navy, what's going to happen against an Ohio State, let alone a Georgia?
