I am seeing a little struggle understanding the great state of Louisiana and it's culture. I have added a few maps to help you out a little.

I know.... we failed Hootie and Cam though. It is easier to get a stolen glock then it is to get a book. The NCAA has gotten so hypocritical. Back in the day if you were a Bama player you could get all the books you wanted. Extra copies even if you wanted one for the locker room, your car, and home, but now not so much. I cry for America...

Very similar although the bible belt influence is not as strong. In addition, although not cajuns or coonasses most North Louisianans do appreciate the cajun culture.

Most South Louisianans look down on the Northern part of the state. That is why these guys should keep going to Bama.

Cultural there is a bit of a divide even in Highschool football. In the words of my HOF HS coach the state changes at Vidalia. Heck all they want to do South of Vidalia is dance and throw the football.
