Know the QB, most skill position, few of the OL will be back. Know Howard will finally retire.

But, they have to be losing a lot on the defensive side.

What's the consensus on Bama in 2017, especially regarding the defense?

They're always losing key guys on defense.

They always replace them with five star players that are NFL ready.

Same shite, different year.

Death Star will still be almost impossible to beat.

Offensive will be very good.

Defense will be rebuilding the front seven. Like the LBs. Depth on the DL is a concern right now. Secondary will be the strength.

Minkah is a sophomore. He'll be back next year.

Most of the secondary will return, that will be a strength. Rashaan Evans should fill in nicely for Foster.

The potential concern is the dline and edge guys. Payne is great but is the only returning player of our top 5 guys up front. Terrell Hall has looked good in limited snaps but the other spots are pretty much up for grabs. There is the possibility that one of our 5* guys from last year step up inside and Evans plays on the edge

Short answers

Qb set
OL replace a few
TE, OJ gone but have two with experience and 1 stud incoming
Rbs all back
Wr all back but dieter.

Defense loses a lot but entire secondary minus maybe hump is back

Guys who likely replace Allen, Williams, Anderson are Hand, Miller, Jennings, Wilson, etc all have played this year and some last

#94 Payne is back at NT

ILB lose foster but have Hamilton and Evans both are outstanding

Guys who could be good, Ben Davis, king, slew of others.

Offense should be really good, def could take a step back but you never know how guys will gel.
