Probably been done on here before, but it's the off-season so screw it.

Here we go:

1. Vanderbilt. It is what it is.
2. Florida. This hurts, but sometimes the truth does.
3. Georgia. 2 & 3 are pretty close, but both well behind Vandy.
4. Texas A&M. A solid fourth, too. After this it gets a bit murkier.
5. Alabama. An underrated academic institution, imo.
6. Auburn. Also underrated, usually by me when I get the chance. But not this time. War Eagles a solid #6 academically.
7. Missouri. Well in the middle of the pack. Nothing to be ashamed of.
8. Tennessee. See #7 above. Not too shabby for the Vols.
9. South Carolina. Starting to get a little shabby, but could be worse.
10. Kentucky. This is worse. Kentucky should do better, imo.
11. Arkansas. Finally found a way to beat LSU.
12. LSU. Finally found a way to lose to Arkansas.
13. Mississippi State. Gets a participant ribbon.
14. Ole Miss. U R Shame.

Thank you 5,000 other Louisiana public Universities that should be closed.

It's possible. Why do you ask?

I would put TAMU above UGA and of course put Auburn ahead of Bama, but pretty good overall.

If only there were a respected publication that would put this out on an annual basis to save us from having to do things like this .

That means no.

It means it's possible, and that you don't know one way or the other.

Now - why do you ask?

Ranking universities is like ranking athletic departments. The alternative is to compare individual teams/academic programs.

LSU has a legitimate case to be ranked higher than all of 7-11. Mizzou is pretty damn strong, so I'd leave LSU behind them.

We have had this pointless debate what, a thousand times? LSU's endowment is lower because it doesn't factor in research dollars. Sites have questionable credibility and criteria, shitty refs, etc.

This for whatever reason will find a way to reach 7 pages despite us talking about this every other week.

Does anyone honestly believe Georgia is a better school than Texas A&M?

Where did you get your undergrad?

Not going to say, but it wasn't in the SEC or any D-1 school.
