I only dislike Auburn, but I hate Tennessee. I only really know a couple Auburn fans, but I've been surrounded by Tennessee fans my whole life.

Tennessee for me.....I do live in North Alabama and over 40...

It's as forced as the UGA/GT "hate". Hear it one week a year. I live in Georgia, and the "clean, old fashioned hate" is a fricking myth. You can't find a GT fan outside of the connector, and the only time UGA fans talk about the nerds is the week of the game.


Despite what they say, the vitriol is much more geared towards UF, UT and AU.

I'd agree they're different types of hate but disagree about the not knowing any IRL. Tons of Gumps move to TN from Bama although I don't know if it really goes in reverse (we're one of the fastest growing states).

For me the question is between BAMA and UF and the answer is that the feelings are very different. I hate BAMA but respect the program and have always had a friendly relationship with Bama fans (like I said a lot move here) but I absolutely despise the UF program and have zero respect for it although I do like some of their fans and posters here. But by and large they are the 'new money' program that doesn't know how to behave the way 'old money' does. That said, I hate them a lot less without Spurrier.
