Of the NC games you've seen, where does last night's rank?

In person or TV.

I'll say first and foremost, Texas vs. USC in the '06 Rose Bowl is my GOAT. I'm too young for that 80s Miami vs. Nebraska game, but I'd argue Miami vs. Ohio State in 2 OTs in '03 is probably my #2. But I think you can make a solid argument for last night being #3.

Obviously there's some older folks who probably have a longer memory or may disagree. Thoughts?

Hard to say since I didn't watch it. Decided making deer sausage would be more enjoyable.

For drama and back n forth, last night is the best I've seen.

UT v USC #2
Neb v Miami #3

Hard for me to say because I have so much emotional stock in it compared to non-Bama title games.

I can say this - it's my favorite since 1992. 1992 is by far my favorite and I can't imagine a scenario that would surpass it. Miami was the most universally hated program imaginable at the time, and NOBODY outside this one odd voter in Arizona expected Alabama to win that game. To be such an underdog, and to win in such convincing fashion and basically destroy the Miami dynasty was just thrilling. (Yes, Miami did return to win another title later, but the Miami of the 80's was put to rest in that game and they had to rebuild completely.)

Florida State vs auburn was not better, IMO. A great game is not just a close game or a back and forth game. Both Alabama and Clemson fielded great teams. I don't think 2013 was a game between great teams, just two very good teams who deserved to be there but would have lost to either of this year's Bama or Clemson.

I strongly disagree. FSU and Auburn was a great game. Most great games are back and forth and close or they involve a big comeback like TCU Oregon

1.Texas -USC
1.a. tOSU-Miami***
2.Miami- Nebraska
3. Alabama-Clemson

*** Because of obvious referee cheating, tOSU should vacate as did USC in 2004.

Top three in my book, but not enough defense

Texas usc

Lsu choklahoma was fantastic. Bias of course

i enjoyed last nights game more than the miami/ohio st game.... that game was a snoozer until the 4th quarter.

the game last night is probably second best to texas/usc, which might be the greatest game I've ever watched in any sport.

2013 AU team probably beats this years Bamas team but honestly what are you arguing here

Would have been as good as Texas vs USC had Clemson won. Because it was same story line. A spectacular Qb performance takes down the dynasty.

Bama winning hurt the story line

LSU vs Oklahoma is the best one I've personally seen. Then Ohio State Miami.

I keep replaying that game in my head and I'm not so sure the best team won. What a game. The one thing I just can't get over is Watson's accuracy. How in God's name can a guy move around like that and throw a deadly accurate strike downfield on the move like that, over and over? He is really special.
