It really doesn't take much to beat L5U, stop the run and you stop the most one-dimensional team in the country.

Just the simple fact that Bama schedules an open date before they play us and that they elevate their play against us, shows we are considered a rival.

:roll eyes:

Once again...L5U is a team that "generally" is very good and is a hard hitting tough game. That does not make L5U a rival.

It's hard to call a game a rivalry when the other team can't keep it competitive. I really thing this rivalry is just propped up by LSU fans to give them some sort of credibility. Pretty sad to see a once proud program act like this.

A loss is a loss, be it by 20 or 1. Is keeping it close/competitive some moral victory shite?

Did we watch the same game the other night? What I saw was LSU getting embarrassed by a much better opponent. One wouldn't have thought this reading all the shite talk leading up to the game.

Bama-LSU isn't a rivalry, but apparently neither is Bama-Tenn. Not by the criteria given in this thread, at least.

19-14
34-20
45-10
44-13
37-6
41-10
12-10
29-9
41-17

Bama has won 9 in a row. 7 of the 9 were 14+ point victories.

Tell me again how competitive this rivalry is please.

We've beaten them 38 times. I'd say that's decently competitive.

I am sorry y'all can't win the SEC west outside of when Bama is down.

The only fanbase on here who has earned the right to talk shite to us is bama. No need to argue or get trolled by posters from other schools. Bama kicked our arse, and whatever trolling they deploy is fair game. As far as UT(light), enjoy the rest of your season.

So, LSU losing 5 in a row means they aren't rivals, but Tenn losing what, 10 or so, in a row does mean they are rivals? That makes sense

It really does make sense and I had already considered all this before the post. Really- is there a huge difference between 5 and 9 straight? Once you get to those kind of numbers there aren't any players on campus who remember a win. I will concede that the LSU game matters more from a standings point of view, but it's just not a very competitive series right now. Everyone counts it as a W on the schedule right now while we know TN's gonna make it a game.

Are you actually trying to be this ignorant or is this just a really, really bad troll attempt?

Here, I'll give you a link, or you could just look like 5 posts up.

Bama-Tenn is an old rivalry. Bama-LSU is not. Just say that.

You do realize trying to troll LSU with the "non-competitive" nonsense discredits the Bama-Tenn rivalry, correct?
