Of The Four TopRB recruits in the SEC for 2014 "In my 23 years, he's unquestionably the best I've seen at running back," said Mitch Small, the marketing director for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. "I've seen Kevin Faulk, Cecil Collins, Warrick Dunn, Travis Minor, who people forget was the national high school player of the year....... "He's head and shoulders above those guys." Also intrigued was Peterson, the NFL's reigning Most Valuable Player. Upon hearing about the Louisiana kid who was being favorably compared to him, Peterson sat down recently at the Vikings' training facility to watch YouTube videos of Fournette. The first word out of the Minnesota Vikings' All-Pro running back's mouth: "Wow." One major college coach who has recruited the New Orleans area for decades insisted Fournette is talented enough to play for the Saints right now. In fact, he said Fournette was better than any back on the Saints' roster, which incudes Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram." "He's the kind of back you only see every 15-20 years. 6'2, 225, and runs like a deer. He will run over a MLB or cut it outside and outrun a corner. What truly separates him from other elite backs is his vision. He sees things before they happen and reacts. He has all the tools that can't be coached and understands how to be a leader. He will win a lot of games for LSU and whichever team drafts him in 3 years."

So, it sounds like LF and Hurd are very similar backs. Really big guys that shouldn't run as fast as they do. I can't wait to watch these guys

He's Reggie Bush/Bo Jackson/Emmitt Smith/Barry Sanders/ Jim Brown/Adrian Peterson/ Billy Cannon and Herschel Walker all rolled into one.

LOL yeah right. I want some of whatever that guy is smoking.

Become a major college coach and recruit one of the most talent rich cities/states in the country for decades and you're in.

Oh really? So Mitch Small is a major college coach? that's news to me. I googled and only found that he's the marketing director for LHSAA. Even if he was once upon a time a college coach he is still talking outta his arse.

LF will go down as a top 5 SEC back of all-time in his 3 years. I just hope the collective anus of the SEC is prepared

I have yall in the conference championship in 2016. LSU will probably field is best LSU team ever by that time though, so it's going to be one hell of a game.

No LF, no care

All joking aside I really don't know enough about the guy to make an assessment.

In that up tempo/spread like offense Butch will run, I think he is a two year 1000+ yard back barring injury. He'll also be great in the pass game too. Should have a monster year in 2015.

Yeah, my only concern is his pad level, but reports have said he gets low to be so tall. Just imagine being a DB and seeing 6'4 230 running downhill at you.

Hurd is gonna be good but LF is a rare talent. If he continues to work hard the AP comparison isnt out of the question.
