I was never 100% confident we would win before the game was played. LSU always respected their opponent. We had so much freaking talent back in the day!

I don’t know about that. At LSU, football is king, but baseball is queen.

SEC was so awesome back then, the two best coaches Ron Polk and Skip Bertman were great friends, used to hold those joint press conferences making fun of each other, and Starkville but had nothing but class and respect for each other. Learn Orange Mustard
