Odd SEC stat of the day: Arkansas has only punted 6 times in 4 games.

And they are 1-3.
Just curious (I haven't kept up at all with Arkansas outside of the A&M game) how have yall only punted only 6 times. It seems extremely low. Have turnovers been the problem? Failure to convert on 4th? Missed FGs?

long arse drives and penalties. plain and simple. Arky punted 2x vs. A&M and only scored 3 touchdowns. TOP was something like 40 vs 20 minutes.

We march up and down the field between the 20's and get to the red zone and? Nothing Nada,Nada
We had 450net yards of offense against A&M but had 100yards in penalties. Most were well earned penalties too. We are not helping ourselves, but we will eventually. Will it be this year? Maybe

I think there were like 3 times we got into the red zone against Toledo and came away with zero points.

They actually punted 3 times and turned it over 3 times via INT, fumble, and downs.
Anyway, when you only have the ball for 9 possessions total all game long you better make them count.
Arky went 3/9 and it cost them the game.

yeah i went back and looked at the ESPN stat line and realized i didn't see the punt on their first drive.
the result still stands. 3/9 vs. 2/9 is not any more impressive.
