Nick Saban left to get schooled by the NFL.
Had Miami's doctors cleared Drew Brees, Saban may still be in the NFL.

In a similar vein, Connor Shaw never lost in Williams-Brice. 18-0 as a starter.

Not true but what is true is Msu never attracted Qb's. Msu always relied on a running game and defense. Mullen is the best thing that ever happened to Msu because the perception has changed. We're even getting recievers now and that is a huge change.

I'm shocked this hasn't been mentioned...

Vandy has a winning record over Auburn. 21-20-1.

South Carolina hasn't beat Auburn in football since 1933

Auburn's Cam Newton broke Bama's Albert Means' record as the highest paid recruit in SEC history. A record that will likely not be broken in the foreseeable future.

Until Spurrier beat Meyer in 2005, USC hadn't beaten UF since 1939. While at USC, Spurrier proceeded to go 5-5 against his alma mater.

Though, in context, it makes more sense. Until joining the SEC in 94, the only SEC program USC played regularly was UGA.

But South Carolina just got off probation for paying players though

Until the late 1980s, the only school to have never won an SEC football or basketball championship was Florida.

Clowney played one game in Clemson's Death Valley, which opened in 1942, and he holds the stadium's single game sack record.

Florida QB John Reeves threw 9 interceptions against Auburn in 1969. He is also the father of Layla Kiffin.

Florida went 9-1-1 in '69 and beat Tennessee in the Gator Bowl. Nothing obscure or interesting there, until you consider that UF prez O'Connell cut a secret deal in August for UT head coach Doug Dickey to take over as the UF coach after the season. UF coach Ray Graves was made AD.

Reeves next 2 years were not as great as his '69 season but he did break the all time NCAA passing record for most yards during his last game vs Miami. The game has become infamous for the "Florida Flop" where UF let Miami score to get the ball back after the game had been decided.

For all of Bama's success against LSU...Mike Shula is a combined 0 - 6 - 1 against the Tigers as QB and HC.

20% of Ole Miss's total wins against Alabama have come in the last 2 years.

Jay Cutler was first team All-SEC. Not all that special. Also there's a first team All-SEC quarterback every year. There's only been two other times an SEC quarterback has thrown for 4000+ yards. So Swag's accomplishment > Dak's

There has only been three other times a CFB D1 player has had over 9,000 passing yards and 2,500 rushing yards in a career. Dak is the fourth. Dak would be the second in the SEC to do so. The other being Tebow.

Dak's accomplishments> Swag's accomplishment.

Imagine if Dak had started earlier when it was obvious he was going to be the guy.

I read an article on that game maybe a year or two ago. Apparently, the fact that that game was held at the Swamp royally pissed off our team and they took it out on the opponent.
