He hired Matt Canada and then promoted Steve Ensminger. Jake Peetz will be his second hire at OC.
Dave Aranda was already in staff and he replaced him with Bo Pelini. Marcus Freeman will be his second DC hire.

O fired Cam Cameron when he took over
Hired Matt Canada in 2017, fired him at the end of the season
Named Steve Ensminger as OC until Steve retired this offseason
DC
Retained Dave Aranda when he took over until Aranda left to become HC of Baylor last offseason.
Hired Bo Pelini then fired him after one season.

Im not doubting that Ensminger had the title of OC, but that was not his offense in 2019 and he wasn't calling plays. Do you honestly believe he has been nothing more than a below average OC the other seasons but knocked it out of the park in 2019?
