Premium seating? BDS has the most luxury boxes in the country.

Outside of a few suites that seat 23 IIRC, the vast majority of suites at BDS seat 16. LSU's suites are uniformly 26 in capacity. Tiger Stadium also has the most club seats in the SEC with 7,200. That's not counting the 25,000 chair back seats in the original stands which would count as premium seating because you pay extra for them. Arkansas's RRR Stadium already has more total premium seating (club and suite) than BDS and will go even higher when they expand.

Right now, it's up in the air as to which type of facility will become the latest and greatest in the on-going SEC arms race. TAMU, Arkansas, Tennessee, and most recently South Carolina have upped the ante in terms of softball stadiums. So I'll go with that.

State is expanding and/or renovating its softball facility, too. Some kind of combo thing with the adjacent tennis stadium.

I don't know the capacity of every luxury box, but BDS has 159 of them.

I just posted it. I know that only because of the thread I made: SEC Football Stadium Premium seating

That looks great! And as I said before, some of the softball stadiums in this conference put baseball stadiums in other conferences to shame.

That doesn't include The Zone, which is premium seating as well.

You've got just over 3,300 seats in both zones, north and south. Tiger Stadium has 3,000 seats in the South Stadium Club alone. Stadium Club West has another 3,200.

BDS was ahead of the curve, but that was then, this is now.

You need to define "premium seating" then. The Zone is not the only section of the like at BDS.

I pretty much did in this thread: 10, 20, 30, More...What percent of your football stadium's seats are chairbacks?

About 34% of Tiger Stadium is chair back seats FYI.

So chairbacks = "premium" ?

The entire west upper deck of BDS is chairback, as well as parts of the lower sideline and the outer endzone club areas. And that doesn't include the boxes all the way around the stadium. BDS is certainly not lacking chairs, but that's all I'll add to this penor measuring contest.

About 21% of total capacity. Tiger Stadium is at 34%.

Edit: I confused ya'lls reply with Ole Miss's.
