Wrong. Committee said playing that close to an obviously improving young Tiger team on Saturday night in Death Valley is only marginally below a win over a lesser team. Also, if they lose another game, it derails most of the title hopes IMO.

Yet your dominating program needs a late FG to win one game and loses the other.
Not to mention that you were LSU's 9th game in a row this season. If anyone should have been dominated, you'd think the "#3" would dominate the "#24" that is playing its 9th week in row.
This sheds even more light on how "lite" your program really is. Enjoy your "ranking", but don't believe the hype.

You guys are clearly butthurt and have been trying to poo poo LSU 'a win by saying you still have a shot in the division. It's so funny and pathetic.
It would be like LSU fans trying to respond to Ms. St. rightfully celebrating their win over us earlier in the year by pointing out that it didn't end our season. It's so fricking stupid and meaningless.

Besides the fact that actually aren't out of winning the conference, I won't pretend to like our chances. But that you think it matters right now whether LSU has 2 losses and Ole Miss only one is laughable. If Ole Miss finishes the regular season with two or three losses and LSU has an equal or lesser number, it bodes favorable for Ole Miss how exactly?
It's so obvious this is a position Ole Miss fans aren't familiar with and your insecurities about your dream season slipping out of reach, kick started by a loss in Tiger Stadium, is pouring down your chin.

I must say I was ALMOST as surprised as u that Ole Miss had only fallen to 4th.
Thought I was reading an old newspaper when i first read that.
But overall congratulations, its not how but if, in life.
LSU has certainly had some good fortune with these committees thru the years.
Now make it count and win out.

You're a good fan, Andy. I had a feeling the committee might overlook the LSU loss. I mean when you look at the game...you've got Gameday, night game, Homecoming, an incredibly talented 2-loss LSU team, and HUGE rivalry game.
That's tough to overcome. The gameday atmosphere this past Saturday was awesome. Enjoyed my time in BR. Had a few college aged kids get a little too into the win leaving the stadium, but we've all been there
