Also, you guys won and still sexually assaulted someone in a Krystal Burger. It's frightening to think what would have happened if you lost.

50 years from now, that guy will still be a registered sex offender and everyone he greets at the Hoover Wal-Mart will recognize him.

Actually, he decided to serve two years in the pen rather than tell his neighbors that he was a sex offender for the rest of his life.

I respect that. Not sure the boys at Angola will though.

Put yourself in our shoes, it was pretty shitty. Win the West, win the SEC, then play a team from the same division of the same conference, again.

You beat us at home. I remember the Rant back then - everyone was certain that meant you were going to slaughter us in the title game.

"You guys" - yeah, no. I didn't do jack, and I don't when we lose either. Honestly, about the only thing about us losing that changes is that I'll be a bit depressed, and then my wife cheers me up. So, yeah - I don't think of losing games with the same sadness other people do.

This part has always been hard to stomach. If it would have been in Baton Rouge, the rematch would have set better with me.

Not what I recall at all.

Most LSU fans were pretty unhappy about a rematch. Having to beat a really, really good team coached by Nick Saban twice in one season is not something any sane individual would wish for.

Good, that's healthy. Perhaps you can counsel your fellow Crimson Tide fans.

Takes top notch coaching to beat the Mississippi schools and Arky every year.

So...um...tell me about Auburn's record versus State the last two years?

FIFY
Given the success (obviously of the Tide) and more recent success of Auburn (only 2 years removed from the title game) I still think it's that state and everyone else is looking to knock them off. Auburn looks underwhelming because of the QB mess and the lack of solid defense. But that has been Auburn's MO even when they won vs. the Ducks and beat Bama in the kick 6. They are built like a Big 12 team, all offense all the time. LSU has a nice combination of pro set formations and an occasional read option look. If Harris gets his accuracy down and throw the ball in tight windows, the sky's the limit for this team. Bama is always sound on defense. QB never has to be Heisman caliber because the O-Line is damn solid nearly every year. Absolute monsters at RB. It'll be a 3-team race in the West for quite some time.

I'll mark you down as one more LSU fan than can't take compliments.

Congrats on the hard fought victory. Good luck going forward. Hope to see a rematch in the SECCG.
