How do you figure that? These guys haven't coached a game in the SEC yet. Might want to tap the brakes a bit before making this claim.

Casey Dick just negated all of that talent.

No, the staff did. Like I said, there are staffs out there that would have turned 2 seasons with them into championship runs. I'm not claiming they would have won the championship either but talent was not the reasoning behind it. Sometimes it's just bad timing and luck. Not everyone can have a 2007 season.

is. It's in the nature of being in Arkansas.

Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee haven't gotten the memo. Okay maybe Tennessee has now, but even our area talent makes them look really weak. Fact is talent is nowhere close to the issue.

I wouldn't go with next season but I'd at least wait a few years before crowning him. And what's bad is Petrino did more with less and got called a hack by the same people. Chizik also won a title with his Heisman and is already out of a job. I can't even fathom putting Sumlin at #2 after 1 season.

Yes yes yes it is. You don't have the talent along the lines to win titles. Period.

Yep. The only thing they know how to do is troll. Their knowledge of athletics is suspect at best.

We beat the national championship team at the end of the season on the road. The season before, we played for a took the national championship gators to the end of the game and choked away a lead. Good god you have no idea the talent we had on both sides. I know being an LSU fan, you are incapable of saying any program other than your own is capable of winning a championship but you are a moron if you think the talent on those teams wasn't good enough.

ANd I didn't even say that would have won it but they were good enough to beat your arse in your own stadium right before you won the title. They did that all in spite of the worst coach in the SEC prior to John L Smith. You knew what we were doing every single play and had no answer for it with a top 3 defense. It was insane watching that game and having to think what could have been with a competent staff on the sideline.

We may not win one but this is way off in terms of the reason. If you think there is a staff that couldn't have won a championship with McFadden, Jones, and Hillis, then you really don't know much about football.

Those three never even won a bowl game between them over their entire career. Sounds llike you needed a better supporting cast, not a better coach.

Ignorance is bliss. I guess 2008 ole miss was good enough to win a title too. They did beat Florida.
