I assume you are addressing this post to somebody other than your fellow bammers because nobody sees them as sane either

BOT also blocked the Pat Sullivan hire as well. Sullivan ended up at Samford & started battling cancer shortly afterwards. So I'm not sure that hurt UAB but they still blocked the hire nonetheless.

I know our BOT pretty well and you have no idea how they work. Even the Alabama Athletics department has to fight them. They are very academic and don't give a shite about the football program at ANY school in their domain. Including the one in Tuscaloosa.

Didn't read all this shite, but does this mean we're going to be able to shut down auburn? If so, can someone give me an expected timeline? I want to make sure no poor churches suffer from the lack of funding when the pastor's son has to commit to a program that pays less.

Yep. This is mis-placed melt. They didn't want us to enjoy them crying so it's coming out in other places.

No one cares. About UAB or about Auburn.

Wrong. Auburn cares about UAB.

It's a shame since all those folks at Auburn who care sooooo much about UAB football didn't decide to play UAB two weeks ago instead of Samford. Imagine the boost that would have given UAB football. Since Auburn had already decided to play an in-state OOC opponent...and one in the city of Birmingham...why not UAB? And before anyone asks the same question about Alabama...you already know the answer. We don't care. But Auburn does...or at least Auburn fans claim to. So Auburn should have demonstrated their caring by stepping up and playing UAB a home and home series.

Your own whining and misery about a better program. That's what you've dealt with.

The whole SEC's had to deal with Bama dominance for decades. What makes you think you're so special?

I find it ironic that OP mentions how much of a destructive university Alabama is, yet Auburn will gladly mooch away players that get left behind like they do with every team that has a lot of thugs that need to transfer.

So don't fret you bunch of sleezy con men

Today the University of Alabama eliminated UAB football after years of underfunding and sabotaging any and all efforts for growth. Auburn has had to fight tooth and nail to carve out their own success while sharing a State with such an attention hungry and destructive University. We should be commended for all that we've achieved and applauded for our ability to stay above their low-class ways

Alabama's a bunch of amateurs.

If you want to destroy your rivals' athletic program, talk to the LSU Tigers - our track record speaks for itself:

Tulane - was good in the 20s-40s, even went to the Rose Bowl. Now? Oblivion.

Mississippi - had the best record in all of NCAA football from 1950-1970. Hasn't won anything since.
Small wonder no one wants to admit to being LSU's rival.
