I think Bama wins 37-10...the only schedule weaker than Bama's is MsSU. Also...they won't have the cowbell assistant acting as 12th man to confuse o-linemen.

Jonathan Banks has been the stud of that defense and he is a DB...easily gameplanned around especially since Bama doesn't have a must throw-to WR. Cooper, Jones, and Norwood can and all have stepped up when needed. Unless McCarron starts throwing picks everywhere...Bama rolls. 44-10

I'm not sure what's worse. People using that term to try and offend someone or people actually getting offended by the word.

Pot and Kettle...what exactly makes Alabama such an elite plot of land (more than Louisiana, especially)

Right...Just be honest, you haven't watched a single MSU game closely all season and are regurgitating what you heard on ESPN. Banks is not the only DB we have...Broomfield, Slay, and Whitley will each play at the next level as well, with Whitley and Slay being early round picks. All fully capable of taking a receiver each out of the game.

Well for one,I'm not even from Alabama, just a grad,I just find it hysterical that someone from anywhere in the south would label another in a derogatory way...

Russell reminds me a whole lot of Alex Smith, who was also coached by Mullen

I think Russell is way better than Alex Smith. I think he's the best QB in CFB right now.

Louisiana is way better place to live than bama. Baton Rouge dominates Tuscaloosa.

Leave it to a gump to go outside the conversation. How about a little logic behind your assumption of the Bama beat down.... oh wait... logic doesn't sit well in gumps' minds

How about this logic frick stick. In Bama's last 20 games Bama is 19-1 and in those 19 wins the closest game was 17 points (against the mighty MSU who had absolutely no shot to win the game in their own stadium). At some point Bama will be played a tough game, but until that happens it is much more logical to think this will be a three score beat down. I realize that one loss was against LSU, but please don't try and tell me this MSU defense is in the same zip code as that defense. This game tomorrow night might be 7 point thriller, but it is much more logical to think it will be another beat down by Bama.

I haven't watched ESPN unless it was for live football.

So your theory is wrong...additionally, I didn't know all DB's did was intercept the ball. You should prob watch more closely...Slay got 3 INT's against Troy and JSU if memory serves me. Additionally, Slay isn't near physical enough to be a factor against Bama or most other legit SEC teams. Hence, why he isn't making a splash in conference play. Your d-line isn't consistent enough to stop the run against the best offensive line I have seen in college football. Your offense is a non-issue since Bama is deep everywhere defensively.

Bama has beat every opponent the last two years by an average of 31 points. The lone exception is 9-6 loss against LSU in regular season.

MSU scored last year as a direct result of the last interception AJ McCarron ever threw...without that gift the score would have been 24-0...and the Bama offense was not nearly as "in-stride" as they are now.

Saban has substituted more this year than in any year in the past. He is playing a far deeper defensive rotation than he ever has before.

Last year there were many games that were already decided and he had the first unit D on the field until the last series. I don't remember any QB other than A.J. taking a snap after the first two games last year. Hell, this year 3rd and 4th team players are getting in on the action. Ben Howard, a walkon TB, has several rushing attempts.

This Alabama team has remarkable leadership. Barrett Jones, Nico Johnson, Robert Lester and other upperclassmen have convinced Nick that it would help in all areas to play more players and build more depth. It helps build morale, and the starters are accountable because if they don't do their job and build a lead, the younger players don't see the field.

Now that Bama has reached the meat of its schedule, it will be interesting to see the substitution pattern going forward and if CNS trusts these guys who don't start.
