So how does this work when every program in the country is under NCAA investigation?

So long basketball.

EVERY school cheats in basketball.

Auburn's only mistake was not winning enough games to earn the NCAA enough money to cause them to look the other way like they do for the elite teams.

We are 100% cheating. Just have to hope Howland is good enough at covering it up. He has a lot of experience doing it and I think he only got busted for some light stuff once so he is pretty good at it I think.

SNITCH U will most likely get away with it. They haven't made any splash nationwide, haven't beaten anyone they are not supposed to beat. Only way they could possibly go down is if another school snitched on them, or collaborated wih a potential recruit to document Howlands shadiness...it would take a real low class, snake in the grass, little brother type program to stoop that low however.

Chill on the Adidas stuff. Arizona is a Nike school. No one is safe.

If you're gonna get em, might as well get em all. Adidas getting busted while Nike walks away clean is like UAB being placed on probation for Alabama's violations.

I don't think so. I've read the text and listened to the PC and we will have some problems, because Person was a coach, plain and simple and there is no denying that, but the investigation stated that Person defrauded >AUBURN< and lied to the players mothers. This is not good, but its not the Titanic, unless more comes out. Hopefully, the new prez has seen enough of Jethro as AD

MSU signed a bunch of 5 stars out of no where.

Eh, Ben Howland is a big name coach and Newman, Kegler and Weatherspoon are all from Mississippi anyway. I'm sure they got paid, but it isn't weird for them to have landed any of those guys.

No, apparently Auburn's only mistake was not simply googling the name of the financial advisor they were dealing with

Evans has been coaching in the college ranks since the 2008-09 season, when he was a student assistant at Kansas State. He became a full-time member of the the team’s coaching staff prior to the 2011-12 season, working under coach Frank Martin. Martin brought Evans to South Carolina with him when he left Kansas State.

Hey this reminds me of that time Ole Miss destroyed its football program for a decade just to beat Bama twice. Remember that? Good times. Totally worth it for everyone involved.

If you illegally recruit 5 stars but never develop them, is it still cheating?

Is this where we say " Kentucky cheats" and knowing that the NCAA will not do anything about it.
