Just watched the full auburn aggy game. The implosion for the aggies will begin Saturday. That team is a paper tiger if I ever saw one.

Let a freaking backup full back run wild
Still can't tackle
Oline might actually be worse than ole misses o line. They block like they have battered women's syndrome
If you can stay in the Pocket wrs open everywhere
Still stupid penalities
Knight is serviceable but his legs are his best asset. He's not going to beat you with his arm

They just aren't very good. A good pass rush and Kirk is all they have

I haven't been able to see much of either one of your teams this year. Looking forward to it.

Don't be throwin' that Tbird weight around just because you can.

Spot on with your analysis.

You might also add how A&M's defense really isn't much improved. Auburn still ran all over A&M and the DBs are very susceptible to the deep ball.

No kidding huh? So, honestly, what are YOU going to do about it? Yeah, that is right, not a GD thing.

Texas A&M 6.13/rush and 237.00/game, 1 and 2 in SEC, respectively

Arkansas 4.03/rush and 170.67/game, 12th and 10th in the SEC.

Here are some more numbers from the Arkansas offense, from another site:

quote:

Arkansas put up 21 point on La Tech.
South Carolina State put up 24 on La Tech.
Texas Tech put up 59 points on La Tech.

Arkansas put up 403 yards of offense on TCU (seems impressive, right?)

South Dakota state put up 461 yards on TCU.

That same South Dakota State team only put up 336 yards on Cal Poly.

They'll get a break this week, then. That's the one thing we haven't done this season. Might be because they've tried to keep the passing play-calling more vanilla, might be because they don't think Baby Allen is ready to go gunslinging in games yet. He definitely has the arm, we just haven't given him any chances.

Actually as I type this, I remember we did have a play when TE was wide open on a delayed post route and Allen chose to throw it to the WR on the 10 yard out-route. It was an easy 7 if he goes through his read and finds the TE. So I'm not sure if it's Allen always going with the closer reads or if he just doesn't get many chances coming out of the huddle to go deep.

You mean Knight's 37% second half completion percentage doesn't worry you?

I love how over confident Arkansas posters are right now. It's going to make the melt so much better.

Not sure if this is just an attempt at smack talk or what but we shouldn't be making fun of anyone's OL at this point. We've had some solid individual performances (one for a FG block) but as a unit, things are still in flux and haven't totally gelled yet. This is a big test for us against an opponent who has had our number in the last few close games. I'm afraid this one comes down to kickers, which makes me even more afraid.

If you read any of these stupid threads and come to the conclusion it's Arkansas fans that are overconfident, you might wanna take a reading comprehension class.

Arkansas has given Stat after Stat as to why we aren't scared of Aggie, Aggie has repeated 4 in a row.

This is going to be fun for us, fun for you guys for a quarter and a half, fun for tRant for the next year

Who exactly have the Aggies beaten to make you feel so superior? UCLA is trash and Auburn is a dumpster fire. Both of which were not blowouts.

Y'all keep putting up your stats against cupcakes vs your stats against real teams last year to show that you've improved

Are you taking the hog koolaid via IV now?

TCU would blow out any team you've beaten on your schedule so far. It took you OT to beat a team that beat BYU by a field goal. Simmer down you old fart.

Tcu is charmin soft on defense this year and has a completely retooled and struggling offense

These are facts.

TCU has scored 100 points in their other two games combined. They scored 7 points against us in the first 3 quarters and 10 of their points came in OT. La Tech has scored 98 points in their other two games combined. They scored 20 against us. I think we might just have a good defense, baw.

I'd love to see those. There's a reason we're a 6 point favorite.
