Gone from the offense:

WR:
Calvin Ridley
Cam Sims
Robert Foster

OL:
Bradley Bozeman, center

RB:
Damien Harris and/or Bo Scarborough (both juniors, could leave)

Defense is the biggest issue though.

Dline:
Dashawn Hand
Josh Frazier
DaRon Payne (junior, may return)

LB:
SD Hamilton
Rashaan Evans

DB:
Minkah Fitzpatrick
Levi Wallace
Ronnie Harrison
Tony Brown
Anthony Averett
Hootie Jones

Our entire secondary is going to the draft. That's bad news. Literally all of our playmakers on defense are leaving.

Alabama is only fricked 2-3 years after Saban retires.

Should be great for marketing the program. Congrats!

Apparently you don't understand the concept of reloading on Saban's Alabama team.

Nah our class incoming this year is lackluster. Next season is going to be a down year. Year after looks great though.

Me like two years ago: no more Reuben Foster or Landon Collins

Enter Minkah Fitzpatrick and Ryan Anderson. It’s not even reloading, it’s next man up that’s scarier than the last

Your backups are better than most of the other SEC school's starters. You'll be fine

The secondary is likely going to be a problem. Not particularly worried about any other group. Not saying Alabama isn't losing a ton of guys elsewhere but I have confidence positions like WR, OL, RB, Dline, and LB have guys that will be ready to go. The secondary losses are going to be crazy even by Alabama standards. I can't look at the roster and see where the top level starters are going to come from, much less the quality depth that you need. Alabama needs a monster secondary class this year but that isn't exactly a recipe for help in 2018.

Ya, but our second / third string will have played about 1/3 of the total minutes.

Agreed. Don't feel great about an entirely new D-line either, but I think we could work with that if the secondary wasn't also going to be all new.

QB - Hurts/Tua
RB - Jacobs/Harris/Robinson
WR - Jeudy/Ruggs/Smith/Kief/Townsed/Shavers
TE - Smith/Tennison/Hentges/Forristall
LT - Williams
LG - Leatherwood
C - Pierschbacher
RG - Cotton
RT - Womack/Willis

DL - Buggs
DL - Davis/Mathis
DL - Jennings
SLB - Miller
MLB - M. Wilson
WLB - Moses
JLB - Lewis
CB - Diggs
CB - Carter
FS - Thompson
SS - McKinney
Star - Wright/Knott

Eh, we'll be ok. Nervous about the point of attack and the secondary. Linebackers and rush ends will be everywhere (Wilson, Holcombe, Moses, Allen, Jennings, Ray, Buggs, Davis, etc).

Offense will still be really good.

Have to think you're trolling.

If not, don't you think that might be why CNS has played 15 true freshmen, so far this year.

12 with a lot of quality snaps on both sides of the ball.

Bama had 5 of its top 7 LBs out at one point. They seem to be doing well making up for lost experience in stride; I'm certain they'll figure it out over an off season.

The depth is obviously there with the underclassmen and JUCOs that are contributing this season and will roll over to make up ground next yr.

The class will fill late as CNS has the ability to wait out a lot of talent. He has the best program where no one player is going to make or break them. With a proven and continued track record of starting the best talent and getting guys in the NFL, the talent will come. When he reels in another top 5/top 3 class in Feb, you will likely change your opinion on its overall talent .

But, like I said, I think you already know this.

It's a fairly obvious troll. We'll be fine in the secondary and sign an elite DB class.

The offense will be absolutely devastating. Just like this year's offense is.
