I’m always nervous about playing Arkansas. This is one of those games, they are pissed and hungry for a win while we are going to listen to our fat little girlfriends and possibly Mississippi State it up.

What is the condition of Jefferson? Injured? I see this as a free space to State. Home game. Road game I would say different.

nah, we seem to be spiraling a bit here lately overall.

Health problems

Defense out of sync, not just the secondary

Punting is terrible

Coaching decisions being questionable at times

Congrats State...

If Jefferson is healthy this has a chance to be a super entertaining game, one of the best in the league this year. People forget how good last year’s game was.

Odom is gonna have to try something different than exclusively rush 3 drop 8. This is the best rushing team Leach has had at State, and he’s been more willing to actually run it this year. But then also if you give Rogers time to throw he’s going to pick you apart.

State being a 6-7 point favorite at home is probably justified. But I’d be lying if I said Arkansas’s offense didn’t scare me. I do think State will be able to get yards and points. It’s just a matter of if this turns into a shootout and then all bets are off that that point.

My gut right now says State wins something like 34-27.

Don’t be scared, we have no secondary, Leach is going to have a field day.. he doesn’t need to run the ball at all. I’m surprised teams don’t just throw bomb after bomb against us.

On offense we have a strong running game but no passing game. Don’t be fooled by the numbers, KJ doesn’t throw it to the WRs.

If you get a couple early scores there is no way we catch up.

I fully expect this game to do down to the wire. Any State fan who says otherwise is still drunk from the weekend.

This is the most physically aggressive team Leach has had @ State.

Keys for State:
1. Keep running the ball
2. Keep running the ball
3. Protect Rogers
4. Win the Turnover battle

My biggest concern for State is that they have had issues defending mobile QB’s. Jayden Daniels killed us with his legs. Haynes King did some damage with his legs Saturday too, albeit in garbage time.

I personally am very high on KJ Jefferson, he would have been a PERFECT fit at State during the Mullen era. And Arkansas did run it well against State last year.

I think State is probably better, especially at home, but I don’t see this game as a slam dunk at all.

MSU got screwed by their kicker and and a questionable PI on 4th down that kept the Hawgs game winning drive alive. I have them winning by a FG in Starkville

All jinx intent aside, we are weak where you are strong... I don't see how this stays close.
