Why would they be worried about Arkansas? They play us the week before Thanksgiving next year.

We'll have the best linebacking core we've ever had next year and the DL will be just as good. Rasco and Hunter will be the next great duo. The secondary will only lose 2 guys.

I think we will be ok........

It's not Manziel you should be concerned with...it's the four-headed monster at RB (Malena, Williams x2, and Carson).

We are always strong against the run and our 5 headed monster at RB is better (Hill,Hilliard,Ford,Ware and Blue). Looks like we lead with Fornette as well who is arguably the best RB in the nation next year. SEC tricked

You should be concerned with him. He has the ability to make a game-changing play on every snap. We contained him for the most part in College Station, but they made mistakes as well. With that said, I think if we played again we'll roll because of the way Mett and the passing game have improved. And if A&M plays Florida again, they win by 10.

Every week I read on SECr what "Johnny can't do."

I love watching JM. He should win at least one Heisman. When LSU went light and fast, though, he was contained and made a lot of mistakes. The last two weeks we discovered something about Bama; they don't defend the forward pass very well. Don't take that fact, and the fact that Bama was hungover, and inflate TAMU too much.

It was a great victory for you guys, though, and you have THE special player in college football. The next couple of years will see the ascendency of TAMU to the top of Texas football...but not to the top of the SEC.

Bottom line, Manziel is very good and creates havoc and Aggies a good football team. Any game that dude is in, opponents will have to account and play well or Aggies win.....

Teams like LSU, Bama, Florida though with speed and power have best chance to negate his effectiveness, the rest better watch out.

With the injuries to our offensive line and QB, it's safe to say you guy could win NOW. Heck, ULa. almost did.

But ULa and tamu didn't. 20-17

Never can tell what will happen between now and then, so I won't be rash. Based on returning teams, however, I'd say TAMU has the best player and LSU has the best team (probably in the nation). I don't think TAMU's talent is ready to take 50% of the games from LSU as this year's game in College Station clearly showed. But I have enough respect for your program to know that we'll probably win close to 10 of the next 20.

That was three weeks ago however. teams improve greatly week by week as Texas A&M has ,just as LSU has as well. The play off system will answer many questions at the end of a season now. Personally, I find it pretty hard to say anything negative about how Manziel is playing right now.

I agree. LSU has the athletes and style to shut him out quick.. Especially put a hurt on him, shut down the run as always, and beat him to the outsides.

(Posted on 11/10/12 at 11:00 p.m. to Saku) Manziel and the A&M team are peaking this time of the season, and would beat either Florida or LSU right now. The 2 games A&M lost to them could have gone either way, but not if they played now. Next year will be MUCH worse.

That is easy say. I would counter your argument by the fact that our offense is better and would beat A&M by 2 touchdowns. See how easy that was.

I think after a year of viewing tape by opposing SEC coaches, his numbers will go down. We just don't see that type of offense here and it will take some adjusting by the coaches and players. It will be slowed down, the coaches here are just too good to let it happen again next year.

But playing LSU and A&M back-to-back is gonna be a problem that I hope is straightened out in scheduling for next year. Way too tough for any team, even Alabama.

His numbers will go down next year regardless. The best running back on A&M's roster (Brandon Williams 6'1 200) is not eligible this year, neither is our biggest back (Tra Carson 6'0 245)
