Weagle is right. You might not want to admit it, but AU engineering is a big deal in the SE. Redstone attracts a lot of our grads.

Here is an updated total by school...Auburn is still leading the vote by a comfortable margin...and A&M is the second most popular school in the country?

How old is that site/data? The NHL map still references the Thrashers.

Biggest glaring errors that I see are:
1) the cities/campuses are all skewed west of where they should be.
2) either they have the key switched or something is bad off to show the UGA/GT split like they do.

I'm aware. I'm an engineer myself. I also have a cousin that graduated from Auburn engineering.

Anecdotal evidence, but UA has a huge advantage in Car Tag sales.

Map compares Alabama Car tags vs. Auburn.

This is the data that somehow had Georgia Tech with a larger fanbase than Tennesee or LSU.

GT claims to have a national fanbase...keep in mind that GT claimed at one point to be "the Notre Dame of the South."

I have to...lots more wore it after that era and plenty stopped during that time.

If we want to go anecdotal about it.

I have told this before...

I have lived two houses down from a family for over 10 years. Every football Saturday I put my Auburn flag up in the front yard. I have an Auburn tag on the front of my truck (have had one on every vehicle I have owned since I was 16) My wife has an Auburn tag on her car. The guy never talked football with me, never even mentioned football. I didn't think he was a sports fan. After saban's first NC, at bama, I saw him walking down the street wearing a bama hat that looked like it was from the '80's. I happened to be in the front yard and he said that thing that bama fans always say to me. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing.

So you are saying the Auburn fans are the smart ones...I agree.

No I'm saying Auburn produces more engineers.

Even during the shula years, Bama fans still wore their gear, had the flags flying proudly on the cars and attended the games.

All the bears came down from Tennessee along with Crockett. Settled in College Station. The twinks did too.

I'm not sure that's the case anymore. Just better report among employers.
