Now you're just being needy.

But in terms of both sustained success and reaching the pinnacle, Bama probably has it. If they win on the 11th, I'll just go ahead and give them the (imaginary) title. The best competition, I think, is 1980s-early '90s Miami for titles, and Bowden FSU for sustained success. Miami's success had plenty of peaks, FSU success was sustained longer than Bama's has been thus far (nothing to do for it until Saban coaches a few more seasons.) I'm content giving Bama the edge simply because it's getting harder and harder to win out.

(Other recent candidates, like Nebraska and Florida, were great runs, no question, but they either didn't sustain as long as the three aforementioned or had a less dominating run at the very top.)

Well, that piss any gave a legit answer. They'll be some trolls, is the rant for Christ sakes. Just don't feed them, and they're harmless.

I will answer after the Clemson game. Win that then I will say yes. Lose that game and I will say could go down as one of the most disappointing era in Bama's history. I say this because you have the best coach in college football and the top recruiting classes.

Bama 1971-1979.
8 SEC Championships, 3 NCS

Pretty bad arse, 8 SECs in 10 yrs may never be matched again. I spent my youth on Bourbon St. going to sugar bowls.

Yes. This bama run is the best I've witnessed. I think it has more to do with nick Saban then bama. I think nick coulda made the same run at a dozen other schools.

That being said the history books will only say bama.

So what constitutes a run? They have been a consistent powerhouse but what run are you talking about. They didn't play for a national title the past 2 years. Should have asked this question in 2012. It would make way more sense.

It's up there with mid 1990's Nebraska. If the Tide beats Clemson then it will be for sure.

Yes. I hope it continues, as it brings the otherwise unfortunate such great purpose in life.

Yes. Being 25 and really only watching college football for 15 years it's without a doubt the best I've seen. Kinda numb to it at this point. I don't even care if y'all win. I'd rather y'all than Clemson actually.
