When I hear there's no chance for an underdog to win a game like this, I think of the '78 Orange Bowl. Arkansas started out as an 18 point underdog, then some of their best players were suspended. They were facing an Oklahoma team that was playing for a possible national title and the Hogs were given less chance to win than a one leg man winning a butt kicking contest.

Hogs won.

My main concern is that a Missouri upset will lead to no SEC teams in the playoffs which might be appropriate since the other playoff contenders simply look like better teams. However, I don't want the SEC to get an image of decline which might affect the chance of any SEC team of getting into the playoffs in the future.

I'm conflicted today. I wouldn't mind seeing a Bama meltdown and for the SEC to go down with the ship this year, but Mizzou playing them makes it so damn hard to want this. If it was your team, I'd be rooting hard for y'all.

Makes for a dangerous team when they are told they don't have a chance...Pinkel is smiling and has his team waiting in the weeds.

Remember the best team doesn't always win...that's why they play the game!

Although Id like the east to rep...I want to have Bama in CFP and rep the SEC.

I would of rather played Georgia honky. So would the rest of the nation. You're silly and you're ignorant LSU fan but you got guts and guts is enough.

My bad, you're a desperate, penis riding LSU fan i thought you were a Mizzou fan with some chutzpah.

fwiw, I expect a really good game today.

I'll be disappointed if Mizzou gets rolled. Wish we could have got to see DGB play this year, but he's ghetto St. Louis trash and as much as the Beckham's tried to gravy train off his athleticism and teach the young man a better way to live they're weren't successful.

He'll be an even sadder story in a few years I'm afraid.

DGB is from the Springfield area but yes, it's a dirty shame for both parties DGB had to be such a POS.

He was the missing piece that could have made this offense great.

This game could very possibly be a shutout.

I'm not certain but I think I read somewhere recently that the favorite has won every single SECCG. Even when games come down to the wire the favorite squeaks it out in the SECCG.

That's pretty daunting set of odds.
