No point playing hard Non Conference schedule

Oklahoma gets in if they play Rice and Ohio University instead of Houston and Ohio state

Ped State is in if they play Duquesne instead of Pitt

Washington proved that OOC doesn't matter

have to agree.

But it depends on your conference.

Strong conference like SEC tough OOC could get you in just like Ohio State.

But I see little incentive for some other conferences.

Hard non-conference games help you a ton... if you win them, see Ohio State.

In a normal year, the PAC 12 North is the 2nd strongest division in football, but Stanford and Oregon fell off the map completely.

All the talking heads who said the playoff incentives tough OOC scheduling at the start of the season was an idiot. As more teams get in compared to the BCS, strength of schedule obviously matters less.
