How about don't use FedEx because you don't want anything valuable going through the hub in Memphis and all the Memphians who work there?

No problem with hard working Americans doing their jobs, just don’t want to support millions going to just Memphis athletes. Most Fortune 500 companies don’t support just 1 University. If they want to broaden the support to student athletes in the places they serve, then I’d be fine with it.

i think Memphis has a sense of urgency that they need to be in power conference

UPS is headquartered in Atlanta.....should they (or any other corporation) be allowed to pour money into the UGA NIL or GT NIL?
If they so desire, they may do so. Same with FedEx. What's the problem?

Should curstomers be forced to support UGA or GT athletes? The company can do what they want, and so can the customers. Companies change policies when enough customers change their actions. I, for one, will not be using FedEx until they broaden their support to more than 1 university. But that’s just me.
Note: most large companies that support SEC schools support more than 1. That’s why you hear commercials for the same company when listening to the different local radio broadcasts.

Actually, it broaches a good topic.
Companies will have to balance if it’s worth the risk to sponsor a team via NIL. You might offend more customers since you only do one team.
The really large corporations probably don’t GAF since they are too big. But smaller ones might hesitate to not offend customers.

Not entirely unprecedented.
Think Nike and U of Oregon.
Or Under Armour and U of Maryland.
Blue Bell Creameries has given $millions to Texas A&M University.
I don’t have strong feelings on the topic one way or another; but I won’t be surprised to see large corporate sponsorships become more prevalent in the NIL era.
You’re certainly welcome to let your wallet your talking; it’s understandable.

That is pretty interesting.
Milo’s Tea caught some tongue-in-cheek flak from Alabama fans when they sponsored Bo Nix.
All in fun, but who knows what might happen when some PR department eventually (probably inevitably) really crosses the line?

Yep. How about Tyson or Walmart at Arkansas? Hell, let’s boycott every damn thing and dry up and die. That’ll show em…..geez…

Has anyone ever been to Memphis? It’s on par with Jackson Mississippi. The school is a dump in a ghetto. This won’t really affect much. It’ll have about the same effect as Deion at Jackson State. They’ll dominate their shitty conference.
